Senior Services
According to the Administration on Aging, a study in 2009 places the approximate count of American seniors by 39.6 million. That is statistically 12.9% of the US population or about one in every eight. Seniors in this study refer to individuals 65 years and older.
However, in the real picture, there are already individuals that need due assistance because of the early onset of disease or disability, far stretching the age range to about five years or more back. This correspondingly raises the demand for assistance services that promote their well-being while they progress through time.
Senior care services include medical and non-medical services that are delivered by professionals and paraprofessionals. Among their services are Skilled Nursing, Home Health Aide, Medical Social Services, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy Services.
